You often hear that moving forward is difficult. I beg to differ. Getting back is the true challenge.
First it's one cupcake. Then it's pizza. Then you skip working out for a few days. You end up feeling defeated and say why bother. You tell yourself, I just want to be happy and not worry about all that. In reality, your working out and eating healthy were all a part of your self discipline. Your listening to your body. Being in touch with things other than your desires. The more you spiral out of control, the more you rely on these things for comfort. Geeesh. It's so much easier to "get fat than stay fit"!!! (Figuratively speaking...or not...in my case anyway.)
Just remember, you give power to everything in your life. Good and bad. It really isn't hard to stay in your good place, it's just really easy to fall out.
Take time for you. Meditate. Pray. Ask. Share. Focus. And most importantly...just breathe. In and out. In and out. On that out breath...let it go. Focus on every thing holding you back or the things you have given too much power. In the out breath...let it go. You got this!!!!!
